THE preventive detention order (PDO) against Trinibad artiste Joseph Olliviere, also known as Medz Boss, was revoked on Monday, according to a legal notice published on Friday.
Legal Notice No. 677 stated that Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander had revoked the detention order made against Olliviere on March 19 under the Emergency Powers Regulations, 2026.
Olliviere, of Third Street, Beetham Gardens, had been detained at the Eastern Correctional Rehabilitation Centre in Arima following the issuing of the PDO. The revocation order stated that under paragraph 9 of the Schedule to the Emergency Powers Regulations, the minister had the authority to revoke a detention order at any time.
