Woman struck dead in Marabella

An elderly woman was killed after she was struck by a vehicle in Marabella on Tuesday afternoon.

The 65-year-old woman was knocked down around 2.30 p.m. along the busy roadway, in front of the JTA Shopping Complex, near Market Street and Southern Main Road.

She was identified as Jameela Basrally.
