Aaron Benjamin, also known as “Sequea,” 31, of Petit Curacaye, Santa Cruz, was shot and killed during a police operation on Thursday morning.
Around 5.55 am, officers executed a search at his home under the Emergency Regulations 2025. On entering the house, they said Benjamin jumped up from a couch and pointed a black metal object at them. Shots were fired, and he collapsed.
Benjamin was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, where he died while being treated.
