Three sus­pects were ar­rest­ed over the week­end as of­fi­cers seized a firearm, cannabis, and con­tra­band items dur­ing tar­get­ed an­ti-crime op­er­a­tions in the South­ern Di­vi­sion.

A state­ment from the TTPS yes­ter­day, said be­tween 11.30 pm on Sat­ur­day Au­gust 30, and 2 am yes­ter­day, of­fi­cers con­duct­ed an ex­er­cise in the Ste Madeleine Po­lice Dis­trict.

Af­ter sur­veil­lance of sev­er­al drug blocks, pri­or­i­ty of­fend­ers, and lo­cal bars, po­lice ar­rest­ed a 19-year-old man for pos­ses­sion of a firearm and am­mu­ni­tion.
