(Kaieteur News) – Minister of Health, Dr. Frank Anthony has commissioned a $218.6 million Regional Medical Distribution Centre in Region Ten.
According to information provided by the ministry, the $218,688,808 facility is aimed at strengthening the country’s public health infrastructure and improving the availability and distribution of essential medical supplies.
The new facility, which was officially commissioned on Thursday, is expected to enhance the storage, management and timely distribution of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and other essential health commodities throughout the region, thereby supporting health facilities and improving the delivery of services to residents.
