A 62-year-old Bar­rack­pore man was beat­en dur­ing a home in­va­sion on Sun­day.

Re­ports stat­ed the man was in the kitchen of his home short­ly af­ter 8 pm when three masked sus­pects ac­cost­ed him. One of them then struck him sev­er­al times on his head,

caus­ing him to cry out in pain. His 47-year-old wife was in the bath­room, when she heard his cries and ran to his as­sis­tance.
