The entire board of Angostura Holdings Ltd has resigned, one day after justifying its decision to remain in office despite a change in Government.
The Express exclusively reported on Tuesday that the board of directors—whose members were appointed during the tenure of the former People’s National Movement (PNM) government—had indicated it would continue to serve in the best interests of the majority of the company’s shareholders.
The Angostura board was led by Terrence Bharath, SC, and comprised directors Dr Maryam Abdool-Richards, Tricia Coosal, Franka Costelloe, Sterling Frost and Gerard Cooper.
