OPPOSITION Leader Pennelope Beckles is questioning why the Government has singled out the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in its ban on fetes and other noise-making activities.

“The issue of noise pollution is not exclusive to Brian Lara,” she said yesterday.

Speaking at a news conference at the Opposition Leader’s office, Beckles said several promoters had already made down payments for fetes at the venue.
