WATCH: School bus driver escapes injury after bus bursts into flames in south Manchester

MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A school bus driver narrowly escaped serious injuries after the unit he was driving reportedly developed mechanical issues and subsequently burst into flames destroying the unit in south Manchester on Wednesday.

Firefighters received a call of the bus fire at 1:38 pm and responded to the south Manchester community of Restore.

Firefighters carried out cooling down operations and extinguished the blaze.
