Consumers are being urged to immediately stop using certain flavours of YoCrunch® Yogurt following a voluntary recall due to the possible presence of plastic pieces in the topping dome, the Ministry of Health announced Tuesday.
The recall, initiated by local distributor Massy Distribution, affects only the topping component of the yogurt cups—not the yogurt itself, which remains uncontaminated. The Ministry’s Chemistry, Food and Drugs Division confirmed that the affected products were approved for sale in Trinidad and Tobago and are limited to the following:
