Po­lice ar­rest­ed three sus­pects and seized a quan­ti­ty of cannabis dur­ing an an­ti-crime ex­er­cise in the Trinci­ty dis­trict over the week­end.

Of­fi­cers of the DCP Op­er­a­tions Unit car­ried out the ex­er­cise at the Ma­coya In­dus­tri­al Es­tate around 4:20 p.m. on Sat­ur­day, based on in­tel­li­gence about an al­leged drug ship­ment.

Po­lice said they dis­cov­ered 82 black pack­ets, four brown pack­ets, two trans­par­ent pack­ets and one red pack­et, all con­tain­ing cannabis.
