Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has described the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) licence for the Dragon gas project as a major “win” for Trinidad and Tobago.
Attorney General John Jeremie announced on Thursday that Trinidad and Tobago has officially been granted an Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) licence from the United States Treasury Department to pursue the development of the Dragon gas project with Venezuela.
The Prime Minister issued a release yesterday stating that since assuming office, her Government “hit the ground running”, immediately getting to work for the people of Trinidad and Tobago.
