The Min­istry of Ed­u­ca­tion has con­firmed that the Po­lice Ser­vice is in­ves­ti­gat­ing re­ports of an in­ci­dent on the com­pound of the San­ta Rosa Gov­ern­ment Pri­ma­ry School, in­volv­ing an in­trud­er who al­leged­ly at­tempt­ed to sex­u­al­ly as­sault sev­er­al stu­dents, on June 10, 2025.

In a state­ment, the Ed­u­ca­tion Min­istry as­sures that it is “co­op­er­at­ing ful­ly with law en­force­ment and oth­er key stake­hold­ers to sup­port the on­go­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tion.”

“The mat­ter is cur­rent­ly un­der ac­tive in­ves­ti­ga­tion by the Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice,” the Min­istry stat­ed.
