Deputy Commissioner of Police Suzette Martin is warning people to not engage the police in ways that could have deadly consequences.
In a statement yesterday, she said officers of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) were “highly trained professionals, committed to upholding law and order while protecting the rights of all citizens”.
She pointed out that, in recent times, the TTPS has seen an increase in individuals confronting, resisting, and attacking officers while they are executing their responsibilities.
