A 30-year-old man was shot and killed out­side his home on To­ba­go Road Ex­ten­sion, Lendore Vil­lage, Ch­agua­nas, on Fri­day af­ter­noon.

Nichol­son Bowen, al­so known as Bal­co, re­port­ed­ly stepped out of his house around 5:30pm when sev­er­al gun­shots were heard. Res­i­dents lat­er found him ly­ing mo­tion­less on the road­way with vis­i­ble gun­shot wounds to his body.

Po­lice and emer­gency re­spon­ders ar­rived and re­cov­ered sev­en­teen spent 9mm shell cas­ings and one pro­jec­tile at the scene.
