PeoĀpleās NaĀtionĀal MoveĀment PubĀlic ReĀlaĀtions OfĀfiĀcer Faris Al-Rawi is callĀing on the GovĀernĀment to state whether it inĀtends to fulĀly purĀsue more than $1.4 bilĀlion awardĀed to the State as part of the PiĀarĀco InĀterĀnaĀtionĀal AirĀport CivĀil MatĀter, as well as the NaĀtionĀal Gas ComĀpaĀny (NGC) and SuĀper InĀdusĀtriĀal SerĀvices (SIS) arĀbiĀtraĀtion matĀter.
At an OpĀpoĀsiĀtion press conĀferĀence on FriĀday mornĀing, in Port-of-Spain, the forĀmer AtĀtorĀney GenĀerĀal said he was pleased that the apĀpeal for the PiĀarĀco civĀil matĀter conĀcludĀed on WednesĀday.
On WednesĀday, a MiĀaĀmi ApĀpeal Court reĀjectĀed busiĀnessĀman Steve FerĀguĀsonās apĀpeal, upĀholdĀing the award of $1.4 bilĀlion to the T&T govĀernĀment.
