Police say Hilux driver who killed pedestrian was drinking

THE Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is warning motorists against drinking and driving following a fatal road traffic accident along Guaico Tamana Road on Friday night.

Around 10 p.m. Eastern Division officers responded to an accident involving a Toyota Hilux which struck a male pedestrian.

The pedestrian was thrown into a drain on the left side of the roadway and suffered fatal injuries.
