In a move to advance bilateral aviation relations, Guyana has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Peru to enhance air connectivity between the two South American nations.
The agreement was inked by the Civil Aviation Authorities of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana and the Republic of Peru, marking a significant step toward the negotiation of an Air Services Agreement (ASA) and associated arrangements.
In a statement on Thursday, the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) explained that this initiative is set to strengthen air transport connectivity, foster greater cooperation, and open new opportunities for economic and cultural exchange between the two nations.
