(Kaieteur News) – Air Cargo Pack (Guyana) Inc., a Georgetown-based air cargo service company, has completed its first cargo flight from Bogotá, Colombia to Guyana, the company announced in a statement Saturday.
The aircraft arrived at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) on Friday,7th August, in what the company described as a major milestone in its efforts to strengthen air cargo connectivity between Guyana and Latin America. The flight demonstrates Air Cargo Pack’s ability to coordinate direct cargo movements between the two South American countries.
Air Cargo Pack (Guyana) Inc. is licensed to move cargo between Guyana, Colombia, Panama, Mexico and Brazil, giving Guyanese businesses greater access to key Latin American markets. The company said the successful Bogotá flight represents an important step toward developing these regional trade corridors and creating faster, more efficient options for businesses importing into and exporting from Guyana.
