A PHOTOGRAPHER has been awarded over $360,000 after a picture he took was used to promote a concert for the late Leroy 'Black Stalin' Calliste.
Angello Marcelle took action against Calliste's widow who was named as the promoter of the event. Marcelle claimed the photo was used without his permission.
Court documents stated that back in 2011, Marcelle attended a pub in Woodbrook in his role as a photojournalist and captured several images. They included a picture of Calliste while he performed.
