Residents of Three Miles, Bartica, Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni) are closer to receiving access to running water as the installation of water distribution pipes has officially begun in the community.
According to a social media post from the Region Seven Regional Democratic Council (RDC), the pipe-laying project commenced and is expected to be completed within the next two weeks. The RDC noted that the project is expected to improve the quality of life for community members by enhancing access to a reliable water supply. Once completed, households in the area will be able to connect to the water distribution network.
