Arima man charged with 2024 murder of Valencia teenager

An Arima man has been charged with the 2024 murder of 19-year-old Maria Paul, whose body was found in the Valencia district last October.
Omali Rennie, also known as ‘Fari’, ‘Mootie’ and ‘Mali’, was charged with murder and appeared before Master Lisa Singh-Phillip at the High Court on Friday. The matter was adjourned to September 8th.
Paul, of Bermuda Road, Valencia, was reported missing in September 2024. Her body was discovered on October 1st at Antigua Road.
