A man iden­ti­fied as Jo­hann Har­ry, al­so known as 'Je­sus', from Cas­sel­ton Av­enue, Trinci­ty, has been de­tained un­der a Pre­ven­tive De­ten­tion Or­der for al­leged­ly dis­sem­i­nat­ing hate speech against Prime Min­is­ter Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar, In­do-Trinida­di­ans and Hin­dus, among oth­ers, on so­cial me­dia.

Ac­cord­ing to the de­ten­tion or­der pub­lished late yes­ter­day, Har­ry's so­cial me­dia con­tent was di­rect­ed at In­do-Trinida­di­ans, per­sons of East In­di­an de­scent, Hin­dus, sup­port­ers of the Gov­ern­ment, pub­lic of­fi­cials, and the Prime Min­is­ter of Trinidad and To­ba­go.
