Eight Ones, national honours: Tyler does it all

At just 17 years old, Hill­view College student Tyler Ramroop has already distinguished himself in the classroom and on the cricket field, proving that academic and sporting excellence can go hand in hand.

Tyler attained eight Grade Ones and an A in the 2026 Caribbean Seconda­ry Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations while maintaining a demanding schedule representing his school, club, zone and country in cricket.

Among his academic achievements, his distinction in mathematics meant the most—not because the subject came easily but because it demanded his greatest effort.
