A 65-year-old businessman is assisting police with investigations after he inadvertently left his licensed firearm and ammunition on the rear bumper of his vehicle in El Socorro on Sunday.
Police said the man reported the firearm missing at the St James Police Station around 5 p.m.
Investigators said that around 3:30 p.m., the businessman was driving his Nissan NP300 along Sadhoo Trace, El Socorro, when he stopped at the side of the road to urinate.
