A 43-year-old Rio Claro man was injured on Wednesday night after he ran into the glass door of the Rio Claro Police Station while claiming he was being chased by attackers.
Police said around 10:40 p.m., Nicholas Francis, of Legendre Road, Ecclesville, ran into the station’s front entrance, shattering the glass door and suffering a cut to his right arm.
Francis told officers he was fleeing from men who were pursuing him, but checks around the area turned up no suspects.
