The Independent Commission of Investigations has launched a probe into the fatal shooting of a man during an alleged shoot-out with the police in Frazer's Content in Spanish Town, St Catherine yesterday.
The police report that about 3:58 p.m., members of the St Catherine North Special Operations Unit and Street Crime Bond Unit were on patrol in Spanish Town when the team received information that a man dressed in blue shorts and a blue shirt was observed brandishing a firearm in Frazer's Content.
The police say the team proceeded to the Frazer's Content main road, where a man fitting the description was observed.
