A 50-year-old Venezuelan national who was detained for 16 days for driving without a licence in 2022 says he will not stop driving despite the risks involved.
However, he is appealing for changes to the law to allow migrants registered under the ongoing Migrant Registration Framework (MRF) to legally obtain a driver’s licence in Trinidad and Tobago.
