VENEZUELAN migrant women are at risk because they are fearful of reporting crimes to the police, says coordinator of non-profit organisation the La Romaine Migrant Support (LARMS) Angie Ramnarine.
Her response comes after the discovery of two decomposing bodies, believed to be Venezuelan women, in a shallow grave on Line Road Extension, Warren Road in Bejucal, late on Wednesday night.
The discovery was made by officers of the National Special Operations Unit (NSOU), acting on a tip-off from a confidential informant.
