THE BODY of a man found off the Toco Road, Sangre grande on Monday (April 6) has been identified as Deshawn Henry of Matura.

Police said that around 9.50 p.m. that day, a man arrived at the Sangre Grande Police Station telling officers that around 8.10 p.m. when he was nearing his home in his van when he saw what he assumed was a body.

He told officers that he went into his home where he retrieved a flashlight and confirmed to himself that it was a body. He then drove to the Sangre Grande Police Station and told him what he found.
