Barbados’ water system will not feel the impact of the 2026-2027 El Niño conditions immediately.
That’s according to the Barbados Water Authority’s Chief Engineer, Charles Leslie, who adds that the country will, however, possibly feel the effects of the conditions during next year’s dry season.
He gave an insight into the matter during a press briefing at the Allendale Pumping Station this week.
