The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) says repair works have begun after a person was injured when concrete fell from an apartment ceiling at its development along St Francois Valley Road, Belmont.
In a media release on June 23, HDC noted a video circulating on social media on June 22, which it said highlighted concrete falling onto a tenant’s relative.
It extended sincere apologies to the tenant and family affected by the “unfortunate incident,” and said representatives, including technical and estate management personnel, visited the site on Monday to assess the situation.
