The MinÂistry of Health has anÂnounced that the inÂdeÂpenÂdent exÂpert panÂel conÂvened to reÂview the cirÂcumÂstances surÂroundÂing the passÂing of six-year-old JashÂer FranÂcois has subÂmitÂted its reÂport.
AcÂcordÂing to the MinÂistry, while the panÂel has preÂsentÂed its findÂings, a stateÂment from the parÂents of JashÂer FranÂcois was not reÂceived durÂing the exÂtenÂsion peÂriÂod that had been grantÂed to them.
The OfÂfice of the Chief MedÂical OfÂfiÂcer has since conÂtactÂed JashÂer’s parÂents to obÂtain their perÂspecÂtive. The MinÂistry statÂed that this step is necÂesÂsary to enÂsure the reÂview reÂflects fairÂness and inÂcludes the views of all parÂties inÂvolved.
