Crime Stoppers Trinidad and Tobago is now offering a $7,000 cash reward for information leading to the seizure of automatic weapons, doubling its reward for credible tips for the remainder of the state of emergency (SoE).
This initiative comes as the T&T Police Service (TTPS) and Crime Stoppers T&T (CSTT) have partnered to remove more illegal firearms from the country’s streets by increasing the cash rewards for intelligence, which will lead to successful seizures.
Now, people who provide solid intelligence which leads to seizures can earn $4,000 for handguns/pistols; $5,000 for shotguns; and $7,000 for automatic/semi-automatic weapons.
