MOTORISTS travelling along Saddle Road, Maraval, were yesterday forced to navigate around a nearly-three-foot-wide pothole which was gushing water several feet into the air.
The large hole, located shortly after Monique’s Guest House, created a traffic hazard as motorists approached the area cautiously to avoid damaging their vehicles.
When the Express visited the area yesterday afternoon, water was seen spouting from the pothole. Drivers were also seen coming to a complete stop and waiting for oncoming vehicles to pass before attempting to navigate around the hole themselves.
