​Bar­ba­dos Prime Min­is­ter Mia Mot­t­ley has called on the Unit­ed Na­tions to de­sist from treat­ing some coun­tries like “chil­dren” and to re­form its Se­cu­ri­ty Coun­cil to in­clude per­ma­nent seats for small is­land de­vel­op­ing states (SIDS) and African na­tions.
