Af­ter spend­ing two days on the run, 40-year-old Ever­son Hazel­wood was re­cap­tured by po­lice in Ba­lan­dra.

Hazel­wood, who was charged with mur­der, was ar­rest­ed yes­ter­day af­ter­noon and tak­en to the Matu­ra Po­lice Sta­tion.

Hazel­wood, along with 33-year-old Joshua Gar­raway, es­caped from Foren­sic Ward 27 of the St Ann’s Psy­chi­atric Hos­pi­tal on Wednes­day morn­ing.
