SenÂaÂtor Kennedy SwaratsÂingh has been givÂen anÂothÂer role as MinÂisÂter in the MinÂistry of FiÂnance, efÂfecÂtive May 13, 2025. The OfÂfice of the PresÂiÂdent conÂfirmed the apÂpointÂment, made on the adÂvice of the Prime MinÂisÂter unÂder secÂtion 76(3) of the ConÂstiÂtuÂtion.
It was pubÂlished in the Gazette.
SwaratsÂingh will hold the FiÂnance post in adÂdiÂtion to his curÂrent role as MinÂisÂter of PlanÂning, EcoÂnomÂic AfÂfairs and DeÂvelÂopÂment.
