A 36-year-old woman narrowly escaped robbery Tuesday evening when two suspects tried to snatch her belongings near the Princes Town Police Station.
Around 6:45 p.m. Gail Ann Teesdale was walking across a crosswalk near the station when two Hispanic men accosted her. One suspect, described as about 5’7” with long black hair in a ponytail, wearing black clothes and a hat, grabbed her hand and attempted to steal a gold Beera valued at $3,000 and her iPhone 13 Pro Max valued at $9,000.
The woman fought them off and the men fled along Railway Road. Police responded, conducting interviews and gathering information.
