…dismisses false, misleading reports
The United States (US)-based Lindsayca, the company building Guyana’s highly anticipated Gas-to-Energy (GtE) project, is reaffirming its commitment to conducting lawful and transparent operations. This comes as the company responds to a series of attacks in the local media, which it describes as false accusations, incomplete information, and misleading narratives regarding its operations both in Guyana and in the US.
“We categorically deny these allegations,” Lindsayca declared in a statement on Wednesday, expressing its suspicions about the timing of these publications. “We also find it noteworthy that these attacks have intensified at a time when multiple competitive bidding processes are underway. While we will not speculate beyond the facts, we believe it is important to recognise that misinformation can serve the interests of parties seeking to undermine legitimate competition and proven performance,” the missive detailed.
