Divali Nagar faces $5m bill as sponsors withdraw

NATIONAL Council of Indian Culture (NCIC) president Surujdeo Mangaroo says that, despite bmobile withdrawing from sponsoring the Divali Nagar, the event will continue as planned.
The Divali Nagar is scheduled to be held from October 30 to November 7 and Mangaroo said that the 2026 event will cost close to $5 million.
Mangaroo said that they had a long-standing relationship with bmobile but that “for some strange reason they not on board this year.”
