First Citizens joins Divali Nagar exodus

Even as State bank First Citizens yesterday became the latest corporate entity to pull its sponsorship from the Divali Nagar, president of the National Council of Indian Culture (NCIC) Surujdeo Mangaroo said new sponsors have expressed interest in coming on board.
He said four companies have indicated interest.
“I got calls from businessmen, they’re willing to support financially... That is very encouraging,” Mangaroo said, adding that citizens were very generous.
