The CenĀtral Bankās acĀcounts are no longer beĀing auĀditĀed by the AuĀdiĀtor GenĀerĀal.
That fact was disĀclosed by the CenĀtral Bank on FriĀday, in reĀsponse to a reĀquest for inĀforĀmaĀtion from the fiĀnanĀcial regĀuĀlaĀtor and the GovĀernĀmentās banker to comĀments by Prime MinĀisĀter KamĀla PerĀsad-BissesĀsar last ThursĀday. She said that for a secĀond year the CenĀtral Bank did not coĀopĀerĀate with the AuĀdiĀtor GenĀerĀalās reĀquest for inĀforĀmaĀtion.
The Prime MinĀisĀter said, āThe CenĀtral Bank GovĀerĀnor reĀfusĀes to diĀvulge inĀforĀmaĀtion. This is the same CenĀtral Bank GovĀerĀnor who on two ocĀcaĀsions...with two sucĀcesĀsive AuĀdiĀtor GenĀerĀalās reĀports has failed to proĀvide inĀforĀmaĀtion to the AuĀdiĀtor GenĀerĀal.
