TOBAGO House of Assembly Chief Secretary Farley Augustine said having Tobagonians as Cabinet members will not guarantee autonomy for the island.
Speaking to the Express yesterday in a telephone interview, he reported that Members of Parliament for Tobago East and West, David Thomas and Joel Sampson, respectively, are to be sworn in at the first sitting of Parliament.
“They would be sworn in at the first sitting of Parliament, the estimated date would be around the 16th of May, so non-Cabinet members are sworn in at the first sitting of the Parliament,” Augustine said.
