Described as a “beacon of hope” for her educational achievements and skills, Alicia Pauline Lalite-Ettienne is seen as proof that a person’s abilities extend far beyond their disability.
President of Persons Associated with Visual Impairment (PAVI) Candice John, speaking about Lalite-Ettienne’s appointment on TV6’s Morning Edition programme yesterday, said the association was elated that she was appointed as an Independent senator.
