One dead, two injured in gang fight at Maximum Security Prison

One inmate is dead and two others are receiving medical treatment following a gang fight inside the Maximum Security Prison, acting Commissioner of Prisons Carlos Corraspe has confirmed.
The Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service issued the following statement about the situation a short while ago:
"The Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service advises that a fracas occurred between gang affiliates at the Maximum Security Prison on Saturday April 05, 2025.
