“Carnival is on,” said president of the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival Bands Association (TTCBA), Mark Ayen.

In a brief response to the Express via WhatsApp when asked about today and tomorrow’s festivities, he said, “Carnival is on and the TTCBA is prepared to welcome more than 70 senior bands and more than 45 Jouvert bands.

Just like the junior parade which saw an overwhelming 80 plus bands yesterday (Saturday).”
