Several businesses in the private sector have joined forces and created a joint relief fund to collect donations of money and essential supplies to help people in Jamaica affected by Hurricane Melissa.
A joint media statement from the TT Chamber of Industry and Commerce (TTCIC) on October 28 said the chamber, alongside the American Chamber of Commerce of TT (AmCham TT), the Energy Chamber of TT (ECTT), and the TT Manufacturers Association (TTMA), is mobilising the business community for relief.
