Forty-two candidates will contest the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) election scheduled for January 12, 2026.

This was confirmed by the Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) via a release yesterday.

According to the EBC, four political parties have submitted candidates for the election, with the Tobago People’s Party (TPP) and the People’s National Movement (PNM) both fielding 15 candidates each.
