People’s National Movement (PNM) candidate for Port-of-Spain South, Keith Scotland, has confirmed a multi-million-dollar fishing facility is in the works for the Production Drive area.
Speaking to Guardian Media in response to criticism over a perceived lack of development, Scotland emphasised that the project has already gone out to tender and will benefit residents of Production Drive, Pioneer Drive, and Sea Lots.
“The upgraded fish depot will bring real development to the area. It’s a significant step forward, and I was instrumental in pushing for this,” Scotland said yesterday.
